Adrian Posted April 22 Share Posted April 22 This is a UV fluorescence image of Celeriac - Apium graveolens var. rapaceum (not my favourite vegetable!) just for fun really. Nice colours and pattern in the cut flesh! Technical details: Both images Nikon Z7 with 105mm micro Nikkor lens. UVF image light painted with NEMO torch (365nm) for 10 seconds at f/22 Link to comment
Andrea B. Posted April 23 Share Posted April 23 That is indeed a beautiful fluorescence. I don't think that I've ever in my life eaten celeriac. I'm not even sure I've seen one! But that is probably because I wasn't looking for it. The grocery stores must have them in stock occasionally. Link to comment
