Andy Perrin
Does anyone know anything about the performance of this industrial UV lens? It’s a 105mm quartz lens designed for 266nm. https://industrialcamerasales.com/product/105mm-uv-quartz-c-mount-lens/?v=7516fd43adaa Link to comment
Aaron E.
No idea, but their website (c) date is 2017, so I'd be curious if they're still operational. Link to comment
Stefano
It looks similar, if not identical, to this one: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.universeoptics.com/whats-new-uv1054b/&ved=2ahUKEwjDsryygI2FAxWRX_EDHc6yB18QFnoECBkQAQ&usg=AOvVaw0xFhbIwszbfiRUKeWWS6dP Universe Kogaku's lenses are made entirely of fused silica and do not correct chromatic aberration. dabateman
That is the UKA optic 105mm. DavidO had one and talked about why I shouldn't get one here: https://www.ultravioletphotography.com/content/index.php?/topic/2762-opinions-on-the-uka-optics-quartz-lenses/ Link to comment
Andy Perrin
Oooh, I remember this one now. I didn't recognize it. Link to comment
lukaszgryglicki
I have UV5035BK2 - from the same company - I've reviewed it somewhere in this forum - as already noted this lens is not chromatically corrected, but I've found mine to be quite usable anyway. Link to comment
