Optical filters to be crafted by Inkjet technology

I didn't know where to post this one, but just look at this!

It seems some researchers could print optical filters with an inkjet. This means if this technology is finally implemented, we could get cheap quality filters to play with :P

Amazingly technology. It will be interesting to see if it takes off. Perhaps it will bring us less expensive specialty filters. That would be great. I'd love a large S8612 that was easy to acquire at a low price.
