LiveWild
Is there kind of of spotting scope, or any kind of lens, that is more focused on observing UV light immediately and at a long distance? Obviously cameras focus on the past, even video cameras to an extant. I don't know if there's any thing like this even in similar technologies. Thank you, Alex Link to comment
Foxfire
Something like this? https://www.findrscope.com/SPD/ultraviolet-viewer-uv-scope-85300-deep-uv-180nm--13E0000-1149960950.jsp Looks cool: spectral sensitivity of 180-1350 nm. Wonder what's the use? Link to comment

Wonder what's the use? Close, but I need better magnification. The ideal, mind that ideals rarely exist, would be something like a swarovski spotting scope, but with a UV component. I'm looking for novel ways to mark objects that can easily spotted and identified from a distance using UV absorbing dyes and hopefully some kind of viewing equipment Link to comment
Stefano
Maybe it's unrelated, but this lens on the same website sounds interesting: https://www.findrscope.com/SPD/uv-viewer-lens-fused-silica-5-element-uvatar--2460000-1150135636.jsp Link to comment
ulf
I'll bet the image circle and back flange distances are small and short. Link to comment
