Is the lens loud when you autofocus? 

Is it slow to autofocus? 

Verses the 35-70mm? 

I read complaints that its loud, clunky, and slow.

I was considering this lens, as the CA is reported to be low and its one of my most used focal lengths on the Gfx. I mainly use Canon 50mm f1.8 stm lens now.

OK so:

- Is it slow to autofocus?  - It is I would say "medium" - faster than 80/1.7 but slower than for example 50/3.5. I would not say slow.

- Verses the 35-70mm? - I don't have it, from zooms I only have 20-35 and 45-100 - I *think* they are a bit faster, but only when I specially looks for this, none of them are too slow for me - I also don't do any sports photos, so maybe I don't care?

- I read complaints that its loud, clunky, and slow. - It is not loud (for me it is silent), clunky (it is a bit too big and quite heavy), it is not slow IMHO.

- I was considering this lens, as the CA is reported to be low and its one of my most used focal lengths on the Gfx - I can see some CA wide open in high contrast (like a tree branches against skies wide open).
