Kai
Today I would like to show some UV pictures from Brittany that I took last summer. All pictures are UV photos that I developed photographically b+w. This means that I have subjectively adjusted contrast and brightness. Finally, I toned the images slightly blue. Canon 6D FS, EF 2.8 28 mm, ZWB2 + TSN575, 3200 ASA, f 4.5-5.6, 1/20 - 1/40 s. First a view of the sea from the beach in the small town of Trébeurden. The water reflects the UV light extremely here. Now we see the "Église Saint-Jean-du-Baly", the church of Lannion. It was built in the 14th century and then modified in the 15th and 16th centuries. Lannion is a commune in the Côtes-d'Armor department in Brittany in northwestern France. It is a subprefecture of Côtes-d'Armor, the capital of Tregor. The following pictures are taken in Quimper. Quimper is a commune and prefecture of the Finistère department of Brittany in northwestern France. The church is the "Cathédrale Saint-Corentin". The cathedral was built in 1239. It was built on the foundations of a former Romanesque cathedral. Construction took three centuries. The two towers were not even completed until 1856. The cathedral is one of the three oldest Gothic cathedrals in Brittany, along with those of Saint-Pol-de-Léon and Tréguier. There is an impressive (and impressively situated) botanical garden at Roscoff. From there you have a beautiful view of the rocky coast. The "Cathédrale Saint-Paul-Aurélien de Saint-Pol-de-Léon" is located near Roscoff. The 13th-century church stands on the site of the original church founded by Saint Paul Aurélien in the 6th century. I took the last pictures in Tréguier. Tréguier is a port town in the Côtes-d'Armor department in Brittany in northwestern France. It is the capital of the province of Tregor. Here there is the church "Basilica St-Tugdual" with a monastery and a cemetery. The latter also has an area with German war graves. The bishopric of Tréguier goes back to the founding of a monastery by Saint Tugdual in the 6th century. A Romanesque cathedral was built in the 11th and 12th centuries. Only one tower has survived from it. Work on today's Gothic building began in 1339 and continued, with several interruptions, until the middle of the 15th century. The remarkable late Gothic cloister was built between 1450 and 1468. Text sources: Wikipedia Link to comment

Unscenerie
Great architecture shots. Those blue flowers in a grey scene are striking. I noticed some blue fungus (?) growing on the statue in the same shot. This probably wouldn't be noticable in a visible spectrum photo. Link to comment
Fandyus
Very nice, the white sky makes them look like old collodion type photographs. Link to comment
Kai
@ Nate and Colin: Thank you! Glad you like the pics ;) @Unscenerie: I think the blue tint on the statue is from lichen. @ Fandyus: Yes - I also think that's what creates the atmosphere and appeal of the pictures. I'm glad if you like it :) Link to comment
Fedia
Great shots ! I live at a 30 minute drive from Quimper. I think I have some UV shots of the cathedral as well. I like how the two spikes tower above the city from anywhere around. Link to comment

You are from Concarneau? Wonderful! Unfortunately I didn't have a UV camera when I was there, some years ago... Greetings to Brittany :) Link to comment
StephanN
Wow, stunning series. Can't really say which one is my favourite. But you cheated with the first photo, that was clearly done with the full moon, just kidding Link to comment
