Castle Nymphenburg (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nymphenburg_Palace) is located in Munich in Bavaria. It is really huge, and most of all, it sports an extended park with all sorts of vistas, lakes, buildings, statues, etc.

Here are a few impressions with the usual gear (Canon EOS 6D, b/w UV, with 21mm Soligor, and EOS 6D 700nm, with Canon EF 17-40mm)

[Edit] Added numbers and a short decription to the photos[/Edit]

Front view of the castle:

#1, #2: taken from a brigde spanning the waterway

#3, #4: closer to the castle, there are two basins which used to connected via a cascade (similar to the Grand Cascade, but smaller), and gondolas were abundant.

Wow, what a place this is! I'm always amazed that at one time some people lived like this. 😁

The swan capture captured me. (I think that's #15 if I counted correctly.) I like the waterfall image (#18). (Not sure what to call that water spill-over.) And the blue & yellow scene with the "folly" is striking.

Stephan, you have made some wonderful UV/IR work on your travels. Maybe you can put it in a book from it someday?

Thanks, Andre 😃

I did want to number and label the photos, but was too tired yesterday, will add some more text tonight or tomorrow latest.

Fantastic place & photos Stephan.

Who left their foot prints in the grass ?

You talking about photo #6? That would have been moles, I presume.

Also, they only used to live there in the summer, like Schönbrunn in Vienna. And like Schönbrunn, it used to be far outside of the city, and is now surrounded by buildings.

You'd call it the "Grand Cascade". Added numbers and a short description just now.

And once again you show a photographically very appealing series of UV (and IR) pictures!!!
I particularly like the UV images because they have a good balance between light and dark areas of the subject.
Excellent work - thanks for sharing, Stephan :)

Thanks, Kai. I'm also leaning towards the UV images more and more. And with the IR ones, I find myself choosing a less flashy development more often than not.
