Unscenerie

During my vacation to Croatia this year I took these two photos.

Sony A7

Soligor 35/3.5 at f/8

1. IR - dark red filter

2. UV - ZWB1 (2.8mm) + TSN575

I like that dark sky in the first image. Nicely dramatic!

Do you like your Soligor 35/3.5? I've always enjoyed using that lens myself.

Thanks Doug and Andrea.

I've gotten used to using my Soligor 35/3.5; I don't take it off my A7 much at all. I found it has a hotspot in IR in some cases, yet I try to live with that because compared to my other UV-capable Meopta, this one has such rich colors in UV.

While shooting architecture, I find this lens is much sharper in UV than in other wavelengths and more across the frame into the corners. I find this lens is just barely sharp enough in IR/VIS.

I have been thinking of getting another Soli, rear mounting UV/IR filters with step up/down rings and the next time I shoot my UV+IR series, I'd just switch lenses instead of screwing/unscrewing filters in front of the lens.
