The Sigma DP1x rides again

Recommended Posts

It's been a while since I've owned any Sigma gear, but I kinda miss those SOOC Foveon FS reds. Anyways, I purchased a DP1x at a decent price, then had it converted to FS. Still a bit early in the season for foliage and events, but trying it out on local scenery. No filter used, except the BW (B+W 092 695nm).

edit--Sorry, no filter on the BW...it was also FS, then SilverEfexPro .

Thanks Colin. Do you still use any of your Sigma gear?

Sure do, I have a few Sigma fp that I really like.
One is full spectrum, they are easy to convert & I have un-converted fp & fp-L.

Yes, the fp is an excellent form factor.

I hope that Sigma can someday squeeze a Foveon sensor into something like that.

Sigma keeps saying it will happen.
