lukaszgryglicki
Hi, I wanted to ask if anybody used them? There are many available, I'm especially asking about light leaks? Can somebody reccoment a filter turret to mount 3 filters (to be able to make trichrome photos on a tripod) that has no light leaks and has minimum thickness to avoid vignetting? I just need something for 3 x 52x0.75mm threads. Thanks! Link to comment
enricosavazzi
The only filter wheels for large filters that I am aware of are those for astronomy 2" mounted round filters, so not 52 mm but only 48 mm threads. They are generally not light-proof and may not accept thick filter mounts. There may be filter cassettes that accept a drop-in insert for 52 mm filters, but a bit expensive, and you need to swap filters by manually inserting and extracting a kind of "drawer" that contains one filter, so you will need one mounting frame and three "drawers".
