Ming
Head of the Charles Regatta Charles River, Boston/Cambridge 2022/10/21-23 HOCR is the largest regatta in the world. The race course is three miles long. There are over 70 event-divisions: by age, from under 17 to 80+; by gender, men, women, and mixed; by crew size, singles, doubles, fours, and eights. There are special divisions for Olympians and people with limited mobility. The motorboat near the upper right edge of the frame marks the starting line. Andrea B.
Ming, this is a super-cool series. Nicely done! I like the way the photos move from the distant view to the closeups. My initial faves are these: John Weeks Bridge and Blue Man Group. The Bridge scene has a rather "old-time" look to it. The Blue Man group provides an interesting look at rowing dynamics. You are *much* braver than I am about photographing at high ISOs. I should loosen up on that. So thank you for these excellent examples of high ISO use in UV work. Link to comment
lukaszgryglicki
yeah, when I saw ISO I was wondering how it is possible to look so good at 32k ISO or so. Link to comment

Ming
Thank you very much, @Andrea B.. @lukaszgryglicki and @Andy Perrin, the images are converted from RAW using Canon's digital photo professional and then downsized and sharpened. That's it. Link to comment
dabateman
Wow the noise is very low for those ISO settings. I am quite impressed. Unless the UV was so intense that the boats burst into flames after the shots. That would be unfortunate. Link to comment
