Fandyus
I have had another portrait session with Bára, a person you have seen several times now. She really liked the idea of seeing sunscreen on her face in UV, so we tried it out. It was a lot of fun and I am happy to have met someone who finds these portraits as interesting as I do. Gear used: Industar 50-2 ZWB2 + QB39 for UV ZB2 + QB29 + QB 39 for blue + UV full spectrum Sony a6000 Visible image for comparison: UV + blue UV: More UV + blue: More UV: Here's a detail of her multicolored hair for comparison: And here are two images that were her idea, first one is her trying to pick which dress to wear in the visible, second one is of her being in awe of how much the colors changed in UV : Model's facebook: Bára Trillian Be sure to check her out! She's a very talented makeup aritst ;) - you'll see in the next set of images we took that day. Link to comment
Andy Perrin
Ooh, she is very striking even in visible wavelengths. I like the "Joker" sunscreen-as-makeup she came up with. With that hair color, you should try UVIVF next — I did a photo that way with a friend once who had similar hair, and it was amazing. Link to comment
Doug A
Fine images @Fandyus. Her hair color is amazing in visible. The sunscreen worked well and I like the drinking photo a lot. Her expression fits the "make-up" perfectly. Her reaction to the wardrobe color change in UV is priceless. Thanks for sharing, Doug A Link to comment
Nate
Super cool shots. It's great you have a Model for this hobby. I like the difference in her hair with the UV. Link to comment

I checked this post all this time later and realized I forgot to reply. I'm glad you like her makeup, she's very good with it. Coincidentally, she already did a UVIVF thing with another photographer the other day, when she had a different hair color (and it lit up a lot). She was also drinking tonic, funny image for sure. I'll ask if I can maybe post it. On 8/18/2022 at 7:54 AM, Doug A said: Fine images @Fandyus. Her hair color is amazing in visible. The sunscreen worked well and I like the drinking photo a lot. I apologize for taking my sweet time to reply, I initially forgot and only looked at the post again now. Link to comment

I found that a lot of "normal" people think IR images look demonic (extremely pale skin and dark eyes) and UV images straight up ugly (enhances skin blemishes and wrinkles). It's a shame, really.
