Trying out some Topaz software to process the super low res output on the Helion XP50.

I think for the most part, it turned out alright. Focus is 9FT(3m) to infinity so close up is a bit more difficult.

Some specs for the scope is on this site https://www.all4shooters.com/en/shooting/optics/pulsar-helion-thermal-imaging-scope/

Visually through the scope is crystal clear, but the onboard recording kind of sucks.

Couldn't see the Moon visually, it was so low and during the day, But the scope sees it all

Very nice. The Topaz plugins are magical.

If this was during the day, the colors/shades in LWIR only partially correspond to temperatures because you also get reflected sunlight in addition to emitted light. That messes up the algorithm which assumes a constant emissivity for the whole scene.

By the way you should add a LWIR tag on this so it will be findable later.

Sure are Andy, and expensive too. I ended up getting everything but sharpen. The video enhance is probably my favorite.

This was during the day, I didn't  think that using it in daytime would be much different, but that makes sense.
