Nisei
So I finally tried a couple of UV shots. No idea if they turned out well though because I didn't know what to expect Camera: Sony A7 full spectrum Lens: Ina 35mm f/3.5 (looks exactly the same as the Optomax 35mm f/3.5) Filters: ZWB2 + TSN575 Link to comment
colinbm
Fabulous Nisei, I like the bokeh too. Link to comment
Nisei
Thanks Colin I find the bokeh to be quite busy though. I was shooting at f/5.6 and still needed 1/40th and 1/60th of a second while in bright sunlight. Link to comment
Andrea B.
They look good to me! And you have found a 35/3.5 that I've not yet heard of. Woops! See below. We have had a photo of this lens in the past. f/5.6, 1/40-1/60" at what ISO? Link to comment
Andy Perrin
For those settings, my cameras would have needed ISO1600-3200 or so. Link to comment

Andrea B.
oh la! I do remember Alex showed a bunch of 35/3.5s. But I didn't remember them specifically. If you did, then I am wowed by your memory!! We need the link. I'll go look and put it here: LINK Link to comment
JCDowdy
I remembered it from back in The Clone War's days. You even split off a different thread. Sometimes to much memory is a curse. Link to comment

I just checked and it's 12800 I overlooked something: I use a Kase MCUV clip-in filter to protect my sensor which probably blocks UV although I'm not sure to what extent. http://en.kasecn.com/product/Kase-Clip-in-Filter-for-Sony-304.html It's no problem for infrared pictures though as I haven't seen any difference. colinbm
Nisei, you can be sure it is not blocking much UV, like too many so called UV / Protection filters it is lacking in blocking UV. But you should test the results without this filter to see if you get any improvements. This is a graph I found on Kase's Aliexpress page, It probably goes out to at least 350nm ? Link to comment
