Fandyus
Another piece from my mother's garden, but she doesn't know what it's called. If anyone knows, it would be great if we could identify it, I'm sure my mom would be glad to know too. The visible image was hue adjusted since the flowers came out really greenish, more so than I saw in real life. My first suspect was possible UV contamination but I'm not sure. Equipment [Sony a600 full spectrum + Soligor 35mm f/3.5] Visible Light [f/11, ISO 100 in Sunlight with a QB39 Tangsinuo filter] Ultraviolet [f/11, ISO 100, sunlight with ZWB2 and QB39, color balanced on PTFE] Link to comment
colinbm
Such a delicate flower, absorbing most of the UV. Link to comment
Andrea B.
It might be one of the Ball or Balloon Cacti in the genus Parodia (also known as the genus Notocactus)? If you Google search on "Parodia" and click Images, then you can find a couple of photos with yellow flowers very much like the one you posted. The UV image is quite nice. Lots of interesting tonalities there. Link to comment
