Fandyus
You might have seen my previous post of making UV portraits. I shot more than that with my model on that day though. Here's some more portraits in various flavors of IR. Aerochrome sim (cyan gobo filter + grb3, Takumar 100mm f/4) Infrared with a 980nm bandpass (more info here) 720nm IR interior photo IR photos shot in the dark and lit by a 850/940nm LED torch 650nm IR with and without a channel swap Link to comment

Andy Perrin
Excellent. Glad your model doesn't mind looking false-colored and veiny! I have had mixed luck in that respect. Link to comment

Hence the picture with her hands over her face was taken. She wanted to have a close look. On 7/29/2022 at 3:27 AM, dabateman said: Some great colors. Also look a little playful. I once photographed my mom in UV-ish (before I owned viable stacks) and she became horrified at how "ugly" she looked. No offense to my mom though, she's a great person, but some people just don't get the appeal I guess. But my model thinks that the weirder she looks the better, so she's a perfect match for this discipline. Someone should get her to someone with a SWIR camera since those portraits are probably the scariest , it's a shame SWIR cameras are so rare and costly. Link to comment
Andy Perrin
Hah! You found the right model indeed. You should try shining the 850/940 torch under her chin in the dark, for max weirdness. Link to comment
