Andrea B.
Blum, Andrea G (2022) Helleborus L. x hybridus 'Royal Heritage' (Ranunculaceae) Lenten Rose. Flowers photographed in visible and ultraviolet light. LINK Middletown, NJ, USA 01 April 2013 Cultivar in home garden Comment: The UV-dark anthers give the impression that this Helleborus has a bull's-eye. The petals (which are formally known as sepals in this flower) stay on the flower for a long time. The leaves remain green during the winter. And the plant grows well in the shade. All things considered, it is a very nice addition to the home garden. Reference: 1. Wikipedia (19 July 2022) Hellebore. Wikimedia Foundation, San Francisco, CA.
