Kai
Here is a portrait with "golden" glasses. The coating of the glasses, which are transparent in visible light, apparently selectively reflects the shorter-wave UV! Even UV-yellow plants rarely appear that intensely yellow. Canon 6D-FS, EF 1:1.8 50 mm, f 5.6, 1/30 s, 3200 ASA, Baader-U Attached for comparison are the glasses, a couple of UV-yellow blossoms (which were just handy) and the carrying strap of the Nikon D 610 with yellow printing. The white plate is PTFE. The UV portrait is slightly color enhanced, the comparison image is not. Afternoon sun. UV: Canon 6D-FS, EF 1:2.8 28mm, ZWB2 plus TSN 575. VIS: Samsung S7 Link to comment
colinbm
The coating on the glass must be highly reflective 340nm. Link to comment
Andy Perrin
Quote The UV portrait is slightly color enhanced, the comparison image is not. I was going to say, normally humans have purplish skin in the way that our cameras render the false colors, assuming PTFE white balance. Link to comment

Kai
@ Andrea Thank you Andrea, For me, the portrait very nicely reflects the mood I was in at the end of a coastal hike in wonderful weather :) @ Andy Hello Andy, In the portrait shown, the WB is not neutral but somewhat warm. Only the comparison picture is neutral to PTFE. Link to comment
