UV and IR and the first snowfall

Had some time after work to go out and take some shots at the local Reservoir. Took my 77D full spectrum and Baader U, 950nm/850nm cheap filters stacked because solo, I can see dark red when held up to a lightbulb, and  Nikkor 80mm.

 

This one was a rock comparison is UV and IR

I like the darkness of uv, wish there was more snow on the trees

 

Happens to be a lot more fishing than swimming here. Water freezes over during Winter and I hear the ice fishing is pretty good

I took more like this in IR, but I under exposed them because they where handheld, so didn't process those

Same here, I should of got closer to see what the reflected purple was in visible.  The tone of the rock in uv is fascinating.

The cattails in IR are cool.

 

Now I'm wondering if some of the areas in the UV rock are fluorescent? Bet they are. "-)

Snow looks so cool in IR & UV! Great job showcasing it. Makes me half wish it would snow here.
