Create Activity Stream Based on a Tag

You can create an activity stream in My Activity Streams which is based on a Tag. This might be useful for a permanently stored, easy access list of topics based on your particular Tag interest. For example, here is how to create a Lens Tag activity stream. Some of your decisions might vary from my example, of course.

 

You must put in the exact name of the Tag.

Multiple tags are separated by commas.

 

If you want every topic for the designated Tag, then enter the following number of weeks: (Current year - 2013)*52.

The forum began in 2013. Or you could just enter an absurdly large number of weeks, like, say 1000 weeks.

 

When you bring up your new Tag Activity Stream, an options bar appears under the stream name

which lets you change any previously selected option on the fly. Changes can be saved.

Also the sorting option will appear at the right.

 

Menu Bar > Activity > My Activity Stream > Create New Stream

Stream Title: LENS TAG

Tags:   Lens

Show Me:  Content items only

Content Types:  Topics

Read Status:  Everything

Following:      Everything

Ownership:    Everything

Time Period:  1000 weeks

Default View: Condensed

SAVE CHANGES

Do note that there is also a Tag Menu available in the Menu Bar.

The resulting list is less configurable than is a Tag activity stream.
