Kai
Hello to everyone, My name is Kai. From my first days of photography I was fascinated by infrared images. Around 2002 I was finally able to take the first pictures myself with my Olympus E100RS and a 720 nm filter.Later I de-filtered a Canon 500D, so that I was able to move into the near UV range. I reported these first experiences at Baader.com:https://www.baader-p...photography.pdf Overall, Canon cameras seem to be less common here in the forum. So I would like to write something about my two modified Canon cameras (500D, 6D) and my lenses later on. As a natural scientist, I am always interested in the technical side of photography. In addition to microphotography, this is primarily IR and - from time to time - UV and fluorescence photography.Photographically I am focused on abstract and minimal images, but I also like to take macros of plants and insects.I show these images (mostly taken in the VIS area) on 500px:https://500px.com/p/...kro?view=photos As a welcome greeting, here is the picture of the flower of a chicory (Cichorium intybus) from my garden :) Link to comment
nfoto
Welcome, and I think you fit straight into the crowd !! If I wish to know my skin appearance as very old there is no better previsualising way than shooting my hand in UV . This adds 100 years to my age. Link to comment
