Here is a little tiny quiz.

Stefano should immediately know the answer.

 

Note that this is just for fun.

After conversion & white balancing and then saving into a smushed sRGB/JPG, the color patches must drift a bit.

 

Consider Blue = 240° on the color wheel.

The eye and the brain work in strange and cool ways together.

This lavender/blue thing always surprises me even tho I have "learned" it.

I think that the color I associate with "blue" is also something like the 220/222° patches. Those look "blue" to me.

That's probably because I learned the sky is "blue" as a little kid? So my mental blue is about 20°-30° in the direction of cyan.

(I think the sky is a few more degrees towards cyan than 220*. I'm not sure I have any RGB numbers for what is considered blue sky.)
