Stefano
How much did they charge you, if I can ask? Link to comment
Andy Perrin
They actually took off 10% without my asking them to, and charged $66 (before the refund, so hopefully the eventual total will be $0). I suspect the guy knew I wasn't going to be happy... I mean, they were not jerks, but they did not do a good job either. Link to comment
dabateman
Wow $66.Turn your shower on to decrease the in air particles in your bathroom. Wait for the humidity to come down. Then open up the camera and use a q-tip (genuine) with 99.9% IPA (electronic grade). Just damp not dripping. Wipe in one direction. Don't pool at the end. That should help. Link to comment
Andy Perrin
I'm going to need more than one IPA to get through this, David! (joke) But seriously, I have to buy some alcohol now, I guess. Link to comment
bvf
I've sort of given up the fight. None of the methods I've tried get the sensor clean enough for macro work, although general photography is OK. There's probably something wrong in my technique (or more likely with my patience). So I rely on Zerene stacker's new dust removal utility to get acceptable macro images. Link to comment
