First test with Hoya R72

I'm not sure you want to share publicly where you are living, but I am curious about the location of the 1000-year old church tower. So let me just ask whether it is in Northern, Central or Southern Italy?

I used a shard of chinese BG39 (2 mm), coming from a filter I accidentally broke into five pieces to block IR. I handheld it on the camera lens, and you can see a bit of leakage in the second image, but this was just to show the church in visible light.

 

F-stop: f/7.1, ISO 200, 1/1000 s exposure.

Probably true for most places, except an active volcanoe or an airplane/helicopter.

A decade or so later, you will be surprised how much will change from a regular street walk of images.
