DonPilou
Hi everyone, I finally had time to test my new Canon 5DIV filtered with Schott BG60. It seems that, contrary to what I had expected first, the thickness of BG60 is not enough to be used only with Hoya U360, and I have to use an additional IR blocker as for traditional full spectrum camera. But results are still good, there is no impact of internal IR led any more and I have observed a loss of only 1/3IL compared with FS camera for the same UV bandpass filter. Keep in mind that this camera can be used both for visible and UV photography. I shot a countryside path with a great tree, using a Tokina 21mm F/3.8 and a stack of U360 and S8612 2mm. EXIF: 21mm, 100iso; F/11, 8s. Link to comment
OlDoinyo
I like the photo--it reminds me of some subject matter I have tried to capture in UV. The limestone of the road really pops out of the dark grass. Link to comment
