I have the Rodenstock APO 240/9. Not that good for UV even when all the extra hassles of using such a lens for landscapes are sorted.

Yes. The APO lenses are not good and I left them off deliberately as I have a number of them. I suspect the additional coatings

My 240mm has a cutoff (-50%) wavelength of ca 355nm and the 150mm ca 365nm.

I have assembled a combination of step rings bellow and a helicoid to be able to focus at infinity and a bit closer but never actually tried to use them for any interesting motives.

There are a number of Rodenstock enlarger lenses useable for UV. Not quite the same as what you are discussing, but some of them are rather well made.

the ones i listed worked for me back in the day.. they were not APO lenses..

 

Rodenstock Rodagon 135mm f/5.6 was my best performer. but it was empirical..
