Andy Perrin
Bernard et al. - I made a new thread with the three filter test using the ones I have lying around. I have a 905nm filter also, I realized afterwards, so I may redo it with that one instead of the 830nm to more evenly distribute the filters over the range.https://www.ultravioletphotography.com/content/index.php/topic/3661-infrared-3-band-color-images-780-830-1064-nm/ Link to comment
dabateman
Bernard,Then you may just try a UG1 2mm with longpass filter to isolate the 700-800nm band. Its weak though at roughly 25%, but camera will be most sensitive here. Then your 800 filter you found. Then a lp 950nm or RG1000 cwould work for high end. That should keep them large and cheap. Sadly though, I think you will not see much color. I am also not familiar with an animal with IR color photoreceptors. The king of vision, the mantis shrimp also doesn't have any IR receptors.
