Passionfruit Flower, Multispectral Triptych

Recommended Posts

Thanks Andrea

I am liking the Colour Brush at the moment, it is easier to remember & less steps.

The brush is just as tedious as herding marching ants into line ;)

I am learning about the colour degrees & RGB numbers.

Cheers

The "fo" is an abbreviation for "form" or "forma" to indicate a minor variation in the given plant from the standard characteristics of that plant.

I also see Passiflora edulis var. flavicarpa used for your flower. "Var" is an abbreviation for "variety". It's probably best to use "var" as that seems to be the preferred name.

"O. Deg" is the abbreviation for Otto Degener, the botanist (botanical authority or botanical author) who first described this plant in 1932.

Thanks very much Andrea

I'll learn a bit more about this Passionfruit when the fruit ripens, then I'll know if it is the yellow fruit or the deep dark violet coloured one ?

Yep, no worries Andrea.

Just waiting for some fruit to form & ripen, also waiting for another MTE to arrive, I need the extra illumination.
