Just two quick photos, me in IR and UV a few hours before turning 20.

Camera: Full-spectrum Canon EOS M
Lens: Soligor 35 mm f/3.5

Filters
IR: Hoya R72
UV: ZWB2 (2 mm) + Chinese BG39 (2 mm)

f/8, ISO 100, 1/200 s exposure

f/8, ISO 6400, 1/30 s exposure

I look so much different in the two images...

You look so happy to be turning 20.

You should try holding a largish sheet of aluminum foil in your hands just out of frame, so as to reflect some light on your lower right side. That would make it look better in UV especially.

I may try that next time. UV makes everything really contrasty. I had to find a place to put my camera to take the photos, and this was the best I could find to have my face illuminated.

The illumination was fine, it's just you need to bounce some fill light. PTFE might be better even than foil because more diffuse reflectance?

Good portraits, though, in both spectrums. Now you just have to repeat at 30 and 40 and you can see the sun do its thing...

I will probably do it, and see how I age. UV reveals a lot about your skin.

Its true that PTFE would be better than aluminum foil. But I didn't expect him to have a roll or disc easily available. Aluminum foil is in most kitchens and the heavy duty strength roll used to line ovens is amazing and durable as a very cheap light reflector.

Yes, there is a small one. It is enough for today.

*actually two, it seems. I will eat them later.

**by "enough for today" I meant the cake(s), not that for today I am done.

What type of cake do you eat?
As a kid we always had black forest as a tradition. But now I go for anything chocolate. Chocolate mouse cake was a trend with my kids for many years. But now we make the request cake ourselves. So cheese cake or carrot has been made.

Any type really. Carrot is not my favourite, but everything else is OK.
