Doppler9000
Hello All, My first picture here. A frog in our pond on what we call “duckweed” locally (Lemnaceae). Taken with a Kolarivision-converted X-T2 (850nm) @80mm, Fujinon 16-80mm. John Link to comment
Doppler9000
Dang, no attachment. Second try. Ah. Error You aren't permitted to upload this kind of file Link to comment
nfoto
Why not try a standard jpg? They work .... Some software add the .jpeg extension instead of .jpg -- not sure if that is acceptable. Duckweeds are my forté as I work with these species on a daily basis. Link to comment
Fandyus
You better post this quick because I really want to see the frog Link to comment
Andrea B.
What is the extension on the file that will not upload??Maybe I can reset something?? Link to comment
Doppler9000
As fast as I could...PNG from my PC worked fine. The first try was on an iPad. There is an insect visible just in front of his left foot. Link to comment
nfoto
Nice "frogweed" .... Most of the duckweed material is Greater Duckweed Spirodela polyrhiza. There are some small fronds here too which may be Lemna minuta. Both are very dark in UV, by the way. No idea of the UV behaviour of your frog specimen, though. I did French frogs and they had nice UV markers. Link to comment
Andrea B.
Very cool photo. The frog's legs/feet are slightly transparent in Infrared. Who knew? Link to comment
