colinbm
Back to the beginning, photographing an Allamanda flower in 365nm UVA.I am starting to get the hang of this camera, not that it is difficult, it is just me being difficult & having to learn all over again. I am running out of excuses & I hope to post more often again.I will need to do this again with focus stacking to get the full depth of this flower.WB off a grey card, that doesn't give me any problems. bvf
Good to see you getting results, Colin. I don't know Allamanda - do you have a visible comparison shot? Link to comment

colinbm
BernardThe Allamanda is a flower I like in my yard for its colours. It only flowers after a good rain period, so that is not too often here.Front & side views in visible light. It really needs to be focus stacker to do it justice. Link to comment
nfoto
Allamanda belongs to the Apocyanaceae Dogbane Family. All sorts of poisonous stuff there and most of the species have a sap of doubtful nature as well. Don't eat them is my general advice .. . Link to comment

Yes they ooze a white sap that is poisonous, best not around children. Link to comment
