DaveO Posted December 21, 2019 Author Share Posted December 21, 2019 Maria Island is off the east coast of Tasmania so the "light Westerly breeze" that shaped these trees was from the Roaring Forties which blows across Tasmania. In that latitude the nearest land to the west (where the wind comes from) is South America. Now THAT'S what you call clean air.
