OlDoinyo
On the outside of many "black light" tubes is a coating, which appears to be a varnish or similar finish tinted analogously to Wood's glass--it is the same general hue as such glasses and it may use the same ingredients (in a different substrate, of course.) But I have been unable to uncover anything about what this coating is, where black-light manufacturers obtain it, or anything related. If anyone here knows anything about this product, it might be an interesting thing to find out. Link to comment
