JMC
All taken on my recent road trip, with the Monochrome converted EOS 5DSR and either 17-40mm or 28-135mm lens and Heliopan 715nm filter. All have been shrunk down for the forum to 1200pixels on the longest side. Link to comment

otoien
Very nice, I think the 1,2, 4 and the last one stands out. (It is tricky to capture the dimensions of Grand Canyon from the rim, getting a little down from the top helps). Link to comment
JMC
Thanks all. Øivind, I get what you mean about the Grand Canyon. While I was there I struggled with the size of it - it just looked like a film set. Height would definitely have helped. Link to comment
OlDoinyo
I like the Monument Valley frames the best--good sky control in those. The Grand Canyon is more challenging because much of the contour is below a flat horizon and IR tends to erase any sense of depth or distance because of the clarity.Still, you framed those well. Andrea B.
Jonathan, terrific photos! It is so cool to see the Meteor Crater in IR. It has been years since I've seen that. We have some wonderful National Parks & Monuments in the US. I'm glad you got to see some of that. Do come back to visit again and make sure to see Yellowstone -- geysers and buffalos!
