GaryR
The good weather has finally arrived and I hope to try more outdoor shots with the sdQ. In the meantime this is a 720nm IR shot of chrysanthemums, using 'monochrome' and SFD modes. Sigma sd Quattro + Sigma EX DC HSM 30/1.4 + Generic 720nm IRSFD (Super-Fine Detail) mode**, F8, Monochrome Color Mode** no exposure data is recorded in SFD mode. http://radium.zenfolio.com/img/s/v-3/p2841249536-3.jpg Link to comment
Cadmium
Gary, Nice. It has a sort of mid-century modern look, for me, don't know why, just how it makes me feel. I like it. Link to comment
Andy Perrin
It is very flow-y. What does "Super-Fine Detail" mode actually do? Is it basically HDR? Link to comment

Hi Andy, SFD mode takes 7 consecutive exposures, then combines them into a single 300MB+ RAW data file. It's more like stacking than HDR, with more dynamic range and less noise. Link to comment
