DonPilou
Good afternoon, Despite the lack of sun, I tried to find a way to use my Nikon E 35mm F/2.5. This lens is not really good for hand held shooting but is really sharp. So I decided to shoot urban views with it during a cloudy day. Here is the best result I obtained : Canon 6D + Nikon E 35mm + Kolari UV filter I kept the result in colour with silver and blue tones. What do you think about it? Link to comment
Andrea B.
I'm enjoying your silver/blue colour palette. The pale blue is very nice.I like the diagonals in this photo as contrast to the tall vertical buildings in the background. I was thinking that perhaps I would open up the shadows a bit to show a tiny bit more of the detail? Of course, that might ruin the 'silhouette' effect, so perhaps not. :D Link to comment
ecliptique
Hello ! Same place but not exactly the same day ! :-))) Nikon D3 17mm Link to comment
OlDoinyo
The framing is quite good, and I like the dark tones of the image. I assume that this is the bridge? https://www.flickr.com/photos/ol_doinyo/10733691256 Link to comment
Hornblende
I assume that this is the bridge? https://www.flickr.c...nyo/10733691256 Yes!If I remember correctly there is a scene in the film Inception which takes place under this bridge. Link to comment
DonPilou
Many thanks to all of you. Yes this is the famous Inception bridge. Indeed it is quite dark on the top of the bridge, the sun was in front of me, I think with a clear sky and a full sunny day the shadows created by the pylons would also been interesting.ecliptique : yes, same place but different technique ;) Link to comment
