Andrea B.
A nice illustration that not all 35/3.5s are created equal. :DThanks, Steve. Link to comment
lost cat
If I am reading this correctly the lenses have roughly the same T spectrum but the Hedomar has a lower amplitude. How many stops of a difference would you guesstimate exists between the two lenses? Link to comment
Cadmium
1/3 stop difference, no guessing. Here are some comparison shots using Nikon D7000, Aperture Priority, f/8 (each lens), ISO 200, center weighted metering, Baader U filter.I also made sample shots using f/3.5 and f/11, resulting in the same 1/3 stop difference. Left: Kuri - Right: HedFirst comparison image uses the same white balance for each shot. Left: Kuri - Right: HedSecond comparison shows each image marquee white balanced (full frame) in CNX2. Left: Kuri - Right: HedThird comparison shows each image marquee white balanced (full frame) in CNX2, and also Photoshop auto-levels for each shot. Link to comment
