Andy Perrin
THANK YOU! I've wanted one for eons. I think I paid similar for my Noflexar, alas. Prices have gone up. Link to comment
Stefano
Andy, you are buying some nice gear lately. Looking forward to see what you can do with it. They are special because they are sharp and have very little focus shift between VIS and UV (and a very deep reach). Link to comment
Andy Perrin
Well I am still working on the “ghost advertisement” project with ICA, which needs sharp wide-angle images across the spectrum, so that’s one thing it will probably be used for. Link to comment
Cadmium
You might ask if they can find the hood for that, which would make it a complete set. Link to comment
OlDoinyo
Congratulations. I was thinking strongly about that one, but you were first. Link to comment
Andy Perrin
It came! It was in pretty good shape. I cleaned it up with some lens fluid and now I just need free time to snap some photos! I was surprised by one thing — is the aperture meant not to click? It just turns smoothly like with a video lens. Link to comment
Cadmium
There are two rings on those, as with some other older lenses, one should have a click stop (preset ring), the other has no click (diaphragm ring). Link to comment
Andy Perrin
Ah, I see - I think my Noflexar does that too, I just wasn't expecting it and I only had a few minutes to look at it earlier. Link to comment
