A Stranger In The Wind
The previous Leica Monochrom models were shown they were able to shoot UV and IR. Andrea tested the M243 (aka M9M), I tested the M246. When Leica released the 40MP M10M I didn't hesitate to add it. It took a few months for the snows to clear away and our guaranteed test subject to appear for UV testing. IR was possible but no leafy trees here til late May. UV seems to be the same level as I experienced with the M246. IR is a little less sensitive but I was able to do some tests tripod mounted right up to and including RG1000. When zoomed in I see more noise on the M10M IR images than the M246. Stefano
Your images don't show up ....I see three images. Are you referring to other ones? Link to comment
nfoto
Strange. On another Win10 box, all three display. Must be some security settings afoot that potentially block images. The UV-Nikkor images are very crisp, indeed. The IR looks nice, too. Link to comment
bobfriedman
So this is an unmodified M10M?.. or did you have the UVIR cut filter removed? Link to comment
