OlDoinyo Posted April 27, 2015 Share Posted April 27, 2015 How do you get that much color variation through an 093? I have used that filter quite a bit and all I have ever gotten was tinted monochromes (with perhaps a cast gradient here and there,) Link to comment

Posted April 27, 2015 Author Share Posted April 27, 2015 Clark, that was not a "natural" 093 IR photo, which tend to be basically monochrome as you have observed.I opened the NEF in NX2 and put an NX2 black dropper on the background very close to a white area to dramatically darken a lot of the photo and simplify the composition. Then I used 3 or 4 NX2 color points on the flowers and set the color points to bright colours. That was it. :) Here is the actual photo looking very 093.(Not sure what happened to my Copyright watermark here. Looks rather smudgy!) Link to comment
