Johan
I just noticed something today - that when I go around the garden at night with my Nichia chip torch filtered with Baader-U, the same plant can have different colours. As in, the part that is in the undergrowth is red, but the part that gets a lot of light is some other colour. Same with branches, underside is red, topside is not. What is this? Johan
Thank you Bjorn! Been reading about this - I get this now. Would you know of a decent reference resource that might explain some of the colours with UVIVFL fluorescence? For example, on a couple of rhododendrons in the gardens the young leaves emerging this year have bright yellow fluorescence, almost like dust on them - pretty surreal! Link to comment
