Moore) Chinnock (Scrophulariaceae) Flowers photographed in visible and ultraviolet light. http://www.ultraviol...p-angustifolia/Maldon, Victoria, Australia22 March 2014Australian Native Wildflower as Garden Specimen CommentEremophila oldfieldii subsp. angustifolia was named in honour of the 19th century English botanist and zoologist Augustus Frederick Oldfield who made the type collection from near the Murchison River in Western Australia. This subspecies was named as a variety of E. oldfieldii by Spencer Moore in 1898 from specimens collected between Doyle’s Well and Mt George in 1895. It was elevated to subspecific rank by Bob Chinnock in 2007.
