Guest
Looking good. I'm interested to see how it will be mounted and connected to the lens. I opted to use Xume quick release adapters some time ago. It helps to get through a shooting session quicker, and with less manipulation of the camera. This is a big help to keep the images of a multispectral set aligned. It also helps get a shooting session completed quickly enough to minimize misalignment from wilting movements of many of the subjects (plants) I shoot. I like your filter wheel option - but I would hate to drop it! (and I tend to drop things ) Link to comment
Cadmium
It is an internal filter carousel update for this lens:http://www.ultravioletphotography.com/content/index.php/topic/2384-nikon-8mm-f28-ai-fisheye-filter-carousel Link to comment
OlDoinyo
The U-360 is a bit of a surprise--I wonder what you will be able to do with it on that lens. Link to comment
Cadmium
Clark, The regular U-360 (UG1) dual band IR use, blue skies, white foliage, with no channel swapping. Link to comment
Cadmium
Oh I see what you mean now, because the lens doesn't transmit UV? Well the lens I used for the barn shot doesn't transmit UV any better. So yeah, It will work. Link to comment
nfoto
The B+W 403 will show the "blue skies" effect even stronger ... nearly white foliage (on a broad-spectrum camera of course). Link to comment
Cadmium
I find it to be the other way around. I much prefer the U-360 to UG1 (B+W 403). Link to comment
