Andy Perrin
I've been out wandering through Massachusetts again, and I have to say, the albino pumpkins and gourds are quite something in ultraviolet. Some examples follow. All are in sunshine, white balance off pavement in camera, on the NEX 7. I should add that the saturation has been increased in all the images, but the pumpkins were already pretty intense. iPhone 6S Plus reference image Rear-mounted Omega 330WB80, Novoflex Noflexar, F5.6, 1/30" ISO1600 iPhone 6S Plus reference image Rear-mounted Omega 330WB80, Novoflex Noflexar, F5.6 0.02" ISO3200 iPhone 6S Plus reference image Rear-mounted Omega 330WB80, Novoflex Noflexar, F5.6 0.02" ISO3200 Link to comment

Andrea B.
Wow, I love these! Nicely seen and edited. Those are some big squashes there in that last photo. You could feed half of Boston with one of those things. Some hints of green there also. Very interesting. How in the world are you able to get your iPhone photos to match the Nex photos? Cool!! With your several peregrinations around the state, you have the beginnings of a nice book: Massachusetts in UV. I'll take New Jersey and Maine and we'll start a series. Anybody else interested?? Link to comment
nfoto
An interesting and for me, rather unusual, sight of these fruits. The matching between visible and UV captures is remarkable seen they are captured by entirely different devices. Link to comment
Andy Perrin
It's mostly just done by eye — I hold the iPhone up to the NEX 7 and snap the pic with the lens in the same place. Then afterwards I crop the image to match as best I can. Thank you all! Link to comment
