OlDoinyo
Last weekend, I went on a mini-expedition to the Cherohala Skyway and the Foothills Parkway with my nephew Nicholas. We were asked to come back with at least one joint portrait, and Nicholas thought it might be too boring to shoot it in plain visible light--so the following triptych was contrived, where we posed by our cars at an overlook while I fired up my camera and used the 10-second delay timer to obtain images in infrared, synthesized IRG, and ultraviolet (display intent BGR.) The camera was the Sony A900; lenses used were the Minolta 35/2 (IR and IRG) and the Steinheil 50 (UV.) Filters were #093 (IR,) #12 (IRG,) and Baader U2 (UV.) You will notice that I did not stand very still in the last photo; I had just sprinted 16 meters from the camera to the posing spot, and the delay timer's 10 seconds were barely enough for me to do so. Bonus quiz: can you guess what color the cars actually were? Link to comment
colinbm
Great work with the triptych Clarke.I can't guess which is you, let alone what colours anything is in visible :) Link to comment
nfoto
You are on the right hand side. The car to the left probably is red or yellow, the one on the right could be some kind of green or blue? Link to comment
