Kyoei 80mm f/3.5 M42

Cadmium

Recommended Posts

This is the Kyoei 80mm f/3.5, M42 mount, 34mm front filter thread.

Transmits UV deep, like the Kuribayashi/Kyoei 35mm f/3.5 lenses (only with some added focus shift, see the red R).

I haven't used this lens much, so I can't think of any UV shots using it, other than the Sparticle tests, but here are some IR tests using a Schott RG850 filter on the Kyoei 80mm f/3.5 lens:

Cadmium, have you tried taking a sparticle picture with the UV Nikkor yet to see if there are any brightness variations when the lens is not an issue? As a control, in other words.
