ROSCO filter glass pics

For my earliest UV experiments (before joining the board), my first attempt was with this "Rosco Permacolor Filter — UV Woods Glass" (P/N 120 33650 7508) which transmits copious amounts of IR and some visible also. I did not at first understand why I wasn't seeing photos that showed the known UV flower patterns. Today I stumbled on the glass while looking for something else, so I thought I'd give it a try using some S8612 1.75mm to block the IR leak. (This still leaves the visible leaks, but they don't seem to dominate.)

Here is a photo with just the ROSCO filter (no S8612). Lens was EL-Nikkor 80mm/5.6 metal, camera was converted Sony A7S, processing was just for contrast and to remove a couple of dust bunnies. I white balanced in PN off the pavement.

Here is with ROSCO + S8612 1.75mm, everything else as above (except exposure):

Here is the first photo but with Photoshop autotone, which made it look nicer:

Cadmium, I couldn’t either. It was bought quite a while ago. I did find a graph of an updated version of that filter that showed a passband from 360-440nm. And an IR leak.
