Comment:

This non-native (US), shade-loving, wasp-pollinated orchid can be a bit invasive if given a chance. The plant roots have a mutualistic relationship with mycorrhiza fungi. This specimen shows a visible greenish colour, but the flowers may have some pink tints also. In the UV the flower has a multi-toned appearance with the brightest area around the anther.
