Eucalyptus eremophila, meaning ‘desert loving’, has a wide distribution in south-western Western Australia, where it grows on plains and undulating hills in well-drained sands or sandy loams. It is highly valued for honey production. This species has decorative buds, bark and large flowers and has been successfully grown in cultivation, including in southern California.
