Cunn. ex Loudon CommentAcacia genistifolia is a spreading small shrub, locally common in New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania but extinct or endangered in South Australia. The true leaves are replaced by phyllodes or modified leaf-stalks, which are narrow, very stiff and pointed. The flowers are yellow in visible light and become dark grey with rough texture in UV.
